Wow...who knew it would take so long to get to Utah from Illinois? Oh wait, we did! 😂 (and everyone else who said we were crazy for driving there lol)
There's not much to see in Missouri. Sorry, but it's true! Maybe we're on the wrong highway, everything interesting must be on a differnt route! Yeah, let's go with that theory! lol
Hold that thought....there's a winery on the hill....way up on a hill in St. Joseph, MO. Let's check it out!
Wine tasting was a success....bought a couple bottles of wine and hit the road once again! Off to Iowa!
We left Missouri behind and crossed into Iowa! Let's hope we find something interesting here...the drive is getting a bit monotonous.
We stopped for gas at a Sapp Bros Travel center. We weren't prepared for heated toilet seats and a bidet in every stall! Wow, Iowa sure does truck stops right! 😂
Tired and weary, we ceased driving for the night and bedded down in York, Iowa. The next morning, we were greated by their neat water tower as we headed further West towards Utah!
