Cedarwood - my how time changes!

When I first started with essential oils in January, 2015....the smell of Cedarwood was one I really didn't like. I, however, love the smell of cedar....so was kind of disappointed that the oil smelled more like those nasty orange ladybird beetles we get in the fall.
The rule of thumb is - if an oil stinks to you, then it's the one you NEED! So, I continued to use it in my nightly routine, using it every couple of nights on the back of my neck to help aid my sleep. So, I decided to put some on my wrist along with my lavender/serenity blend.
It suddenly occured to me that I didn't smell those nasty orange beetles anymore.....but rather....CEDAR! I laid there, sniffing my wrist as if I had gone crazy - the smell intrigued me, attracted me, and made me happy!
I proceeded to put 2 drops on my pillow, on the left side and the right.....and drifted blissfully off to sleep.
Hello new night time routine!
