What an amazing time!

This past week, I took some personal time off....from work....from life. Two years ago, I lost my dad to kidney failure, so instead of sitting around sad and constantly thinking about the sorrow, my mom and I took a girls week trip to Vegas....somewhere neither of us had been and so many people had recommended we go to.

Well, other than the tremendous amounts of cigarette and cigar smoke in the casinos and hotels, we had a really good time. However, with that said, the smoke made me sick! Thank goodness for essential oils, I have it under control and am on the upswing!

While floating in the pool, I met some lovely people - two couples from Colorado, complete strangers to each other as well as to me. We had a wonderful talk under the warm Nevada sun. One lady had injured her back recently and was experiencing pain like she had never experienced in her entire life. There were poolside massages, so she decided to do one. Even after the massage, her body was still in pain - better, but still present. I, of course, had my oils with me poolside and while still in the pool, I reached into my bag of goodies and gave her a roll-on of Deep Blue & Peppermint.

We continued to talk after she applied the blend to her troubled areas - within minutes, she looked at her husband and said "Honey, you're going to think I'm crazy....but that pain is GONE!" I poured her a small sample bottle of the Deep Blue as I was leaving the pool - we met later that evening in her hotel room, her pain was still gone and we discussed her health further.

I love it when people have relief and discover essential oils for the first time! It is so exciting and exhilarating! Can't wait to see how much her life improves with EOs!
